Lie There and Take it (updated)

 At the time of this writing there has been almost twenty four months of hearing the mantra of 'just lie there and take it.' This rhetoric has been echoing in the ears across the planet, coming in from all sorts of experts and has been repeated by elected officials and the Main Stream Media (MSM). There is one problem, the messaging had a a more then just a few bumps in the road as there were also a high number of pot-holes too. 

Tangent: In 1970 a demilitarized zone (DMZ) was set up Salvador and Honduras. The DMZ between the two countries is just shy of six kilometres or just over 3.5 miles. This author traveled a road that spanned the DMZ moving from one country to the other, and the road was, simply put a horror show. Two ideas came to mind during this traversal: 1) the DMZ is an un-managed space allowing the road to deteriorate, or 2) the road within the DMZ was allowed with purpose to spoil in order to reduce the speed of an invasion. Just so the reader knows, the DMZ was formed after an invasion over a soccer game. 

Two Minutes Later:

The last two years has reminded this author of that DMZ road, because the bumps and pot-holes exercised in the treatment of the citizenry has seriously been a pain in the butt for many people. The rules and mandates being issued seem to be only double faceted at best, in that the rules were being used to disseminate fear and control over the people and all the while not actually make the people any safer. If there is another facet to this, the reader is welcome to point it out for reasonable discussion. 

Please indulge the author as he lists the presented contradictions to the best of this author's memory:

1) No masks, then masks for all, and they settled on that masks don't really work

2) Social distancing, when physical distancing was actually the goal; this author has an uncle whom they socially distance from as he is a bit of a strange person.

3) Fully vaccinated people will be free from infection and yet vaccinated people make up the most number of infected people under OMICRON in Ontario Canada. 

4) In restaurants, standing people must be masked and in government the seated must be masked, does the reader see the confusion this may cause? 

5) Small business were shuttered by government(s), while big Corp such as big box stores or fast food chains were allowed to remain open. The 'experts' have stated that obesity is a safety concern for those who may contract and yet crappy food wasn't halted.

6) Vitamin D was never a recommended course of action in low sunshine areas. 

7) Government members have been shown not to follow the rules that they have set for the citizenry.

8) The infectious material wasn't created and/or manipulated in a lab and now that lab theory now has a significant possibility. 

9) Was this pandemic, a physical problem, a mental problem or a combination of both and if so at what proportion?

10) The numbers of cases was certain, the number of hospitalized was certain, the number of people in the ICU for whatever reason was certain - yet all of these numbers are about to be recalculated.

11)  Project Veritas, released leaked emails showing that the US government and scientist knew that the virus was created in a lab, all the while spouting the wet market theory (update 1/15/2022,)

Please also consider the on going silencing and othering of people during this 'pandemic', the reader must ask themselves this; what if Galileo followed the science of his time. For is science nothing more then asking ever more questions.

Given the points above, this author has two considerations that need to be addressed. The first question is, are the points above showing the confusion being peddled to the citizenry as incompetence or is that same said information being peddled is a constructed campaign with purpose? When the reader considers the flip-flopping, the retractions, the back peddling, the corrections and the censorship of other's thoughts; it has become increasingly difficult to trust the 'experts' and their 'science' that is being peddled because if the experts are incompetent, the trust must end and if the experts are acting with deceit the trust must end. Regardless the trust must be held suspect. 

The MSM has carried water for these governments throughout this whole episode and yet the MSM simply parroted the talking points and for the most part offered up no hard questions for the government, in order to dig deep for the protection of the people as was understood to be the mandate for the MSM, which was once was referred to as the forth estate. 

The fifth estate, in accordance with American parlance, is the people or the citizenry of a country if one will. For clarity the following should be noted: the first estate is The Executive branch, the second estate is The Legislative branch, the third is The Judicial branch, the forth estate is are the journalists, and the fifth estate is The Citizenry. Of course in some countries that can be found where these 'estates' fall to the wayside as the second and third are basically leapt over be the first estate who manage the forth estate in order to manage the fifth. 

There are frequent ongoing conversations discussing the concept of when will all this current situation end. Here in lies one problem with our system, because things never actually end, history simply morphs into the next thing that we then pay attention to, which is then expected to end in some sort of a timely way just like the previous historical moment which were also supposed to end at some point in time and things simply transition into the next point in our collective timelines. Wash, rinse and repeat; for this is how a clean and simple tyranny is maintained. 

The Western world, as it is called, whilst not unique on the globe is mostly based on a system of checks balances and the last two years has seen those checks and balances being circumvented. Some of the shakers and movers involved in the stripping away of the checks and balances, along with the Rights as described in the base document for their countries need to be put in a cage with a good and strong Locke(i).

When basic Human Rights are replaced by Government issued privileges, then that country's citizenry should no longer consider that they live a free state. A grain of sand can be turned into a pearl and yet humans are not salt-water bivalve molluscs and so this current situation is starting to grind on many people. The mono culture that is oysters can not be raised as an equivalency for people as we are many with many different ideals, and as such the pearls within humanity are few are far between. 

Returning the oyster metafore, how much longer will people be willing to eat at this information buffet which is covered in sand?
